Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable with a nice double bed and a well-equipped disabled bathroom, and it was bright at night. The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location was convenient and easy to access various places in Carrigaline, making it suitable for families with kids and professionals. The dining experience was pleasant with a good buffet selection. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers clean and modern rooms with lovely spacious layouts and a good breakfast spread. The service, especially from Gillian on reception and the waiting staff, was top-notch. The location is convenient, with a bus stop outside, ideal for sightseeing in Cork. The dining experience, while basic, was good overall. However, parking spaces were a bit hard to find.
The hotel is situated perfectly, with easy access to the car ferry terminal in Ringaskiddy and right in the heart of Carrigaline. The rooms are always spotless and bright at night, although a more modern touch could enhance the experience. The dining options have their ups and downs, with some inconsistencies in quality and service.
The hotel had some mixed aspects. The rooms, while comfortable, had some stains on the sofa and looked worn. The open space between the hotel and the main function room, where there was a staff smoking area, could get noisy. On the bright side, the bed provided a very cozy sleep despite being near exterior fans that were loud for light sleepers like me.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, making it great for exploring nearby attractions. The rooms are of decent size, but the experience was marred by issues in the Ladies Changing room. The service was exceptional, with friendly and polite staff that made us feel very welcome. The location is fabulous with easy access to Cork City and Carrigaline, perfect for visits to Spike Island and Fota wildlife. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some letdowns in the service and breakfast quality. Overall, a mixed but enjoyable stay.
